Chris Curl here with Eurocentres Vancouver giving you a n  inside look at one of Eurocentres  Canada's partners, Thompson Rivers University  which is  located in beautiful Kamloops, British Columbia. I am a third year student there and love it! This is a great University because it is designed for you to be successful. Small class sizes allow you to have more 1 on 1 time with your professors, who also have office hours  so you can ask questions and get lots of help. The school provides math and writing centres that are free  for  students  and can be so useful  if you are struggling with your courses. Academic Advisors are always available and make it easy and simple for you to choose your classes. Located on Campus is the Tournament Capital Centre, one of the nicest facilities in North America .   It has a gym, swimming pool, indoor track and much more  and   students get a discount on their membership! The residence on campus is one of the nicest in Canada with large rooms that have kitchens  and bathrooms , 24- hour security and a front desk operator so you feel safe and secure at all times. Other student housing options include Mcgill Student housing which is also on campus , and Upper College Heights (UCH) which is a simple 5 minute walk from campus and is much cheaper than residence. The people in Kamloops are very friendly and welcoming to international students. Multiple bars and clubs downtown provide a fun nightlife for students!
