Basic Course
(20 lessons per week)
Ideal for general purposes and for those who like to mix class time and self-study, our morning Basic Course forms the cornerstone of our academic curriculum. Here, you'll learn and practice the main skills essential for improvement and gain exposure to a range of learning strategies in a stimulating classroom environment. Audiovisual activities and special projects add an extra dimension to your learning experience. After your classes in the morning, you are free to organize your own schedule of self-study and/or leisure. Lessons: 20 instructed lessons plus 5 hours self-study in the Learning Centre per week.
Intensive Course
(20 lessons + 5 lessons elective option per week)
Our most popular option, the Intensive Course allows you to combine the fundamental skills learned in the Basic Course with the addition of more focused and specific skills in an afternoon elective option class. The inclusion of an elective option class allows you to learn at an accelerated pace. The Intensive Course represents a large part of the Eurocentres approach to language learning because it provides you with the opportunity to focus and refine your knowledge based on your personal area of importance or interest. Of course, our elective option classes have been carefully chosen and designed by our experienced curriculum developers with your specific goals and needs in mind. Lessons: 20 x 50 minute lessons per week plus 5 hours self-study in the Learning Centre. One elective option (5 x 50 minutes) will be selected by the student. Elective options: TOEFL (Levels 4-10), Business English & TOEIC (Levels 2-10), Cambridge (Levels 4-10), Fluency (Levels 1-10) or double Fluency (Levels 1-10), Academic Writing & Speaking (Levels 4-10)
Super-Intensive Course
(20 lessons + 10 lessons elective options per week)
Our Super-Intensive Course takes the Basic Course as the starting point and uses two afternoon electives as your focus of interest. With your team of two or three teachers, you will receive the highest level of training and support including a range of feedback and advice regarding all areas of your development. Super-Intensive allows for a highly individualized program. Choose the program that maximizes your time, while allowing you the flexibility to take control of your learning. Lessons: 20 x 50 minute lessons per week plus 5 hours self-study per week in the Learning Centre; 2 elective options (5 x 50 minutes each) will be selected by the student. Elective options: TOEFL (Levels 4-10), Business English & TOEIC (Levels 2-10), Cambridge (Levels 4-10), Fluency (Levels 1-10) or double Fluency (Levels 1-10), Academic Writing & Speaking (Levels 4-10)
Cambridge Super-Intensive elective options:
20 x 50 minute lessons per week plus 5 hours self-study per week in the Learning Centre; 1 elective option (5 x 50 minutes each) Cambridge Exam elective option + Fluency or Academic Writing & Speaking Elective option (5 x 50 minutes each)
IELTS Super-Intensive elective options:

Elective Class Options
Fluency (General English)
Our Fluency elective classes focus on listening and speaking and encourage development through constant practice and reinforcement of these important skills. There is a cultural element to the course, which gives students further insight into Canadian life. Students with a strong grammatical background find this class especially useful as they have the perfect environment to put their knowledge into practice. Those who work or study using English, or intend to in the future, find that the skills learned here help in real life situations.

Academic Writing and Speaking
Studying in University or College in Canada requires a high level of ability and confidence with English in both writing and speaking. The Academic Writing & Speaking elective option helps students to prepare themselves for Cambridge, IELTS or TOEFL exams or the University Transfer Program by helping them to develop their written essay, composition and discourse skills. This elective is perfect for any student who seeks to improve their English production skills as they will also work on their presentation and discussion skills.

Cambridge
The practical nature of the ever-growing Cambridge exams makes this a perfect choice for students looking for a solid grounding in all skill areas. With a range of material drawn from different levels; FCE, CAE and CPE, students will gain valuable experience applying practical English knowledge at the level best suited to them. Perfect for those with goals that are both professional and academic, this course serves as a great introduction to these exams, respected equally in professional and educational fields. Eurocentres offers both full-time and self-study preparation for the FCE and CAE Cambridge exams. Cambridge is offered as an 8-12 week Super-Intensive Course (January/ March and September start dates)

IELTS
Our IELTS preparation course will help students develop key skills tested in the IELTS exam. Students will be prepared for the exam through a combination of language skills training and exam practice. Each week is based on a relevant topic area, allowing students to build up experience of a range of topics covered in the exam. Our Knowledgeable staff will help you become familiar with the structure of the exam as well as teach you the necessary skills, vocabulary and grammar to succeed. IELTS is offered as 8-12 week Super-Intensive Course.

TOEFL
Students getting ready to take the TOEFL iBT will find our TOEFL elective option well-designed to help them achieve the score they need. The Elective trains you how to use skills learned in other courses during the test. Through regular assessment and exam practice, we'll also develop your know-how so you can build confidence and be fully prepared for all parts of the exam. Students can also get feedback and advice from our Exams Coordinator and choose material from our wide range of resources. You will learn the skills you need as well as brush up on your exam techniques and strategies.

Business English & TOEIC
Our highly developed Business English curriculum combines the best in academic business knowledge with everyday business practice. A perfect blend of task-based learning and skill focus, the Elective also accommodates those interested in the TOEIC Exam, which is used to measure English in everyday work activities. Learn the all-important vocabulary and master the skills necessary for achieving a high score on all components of the TOEIC test (Reading & Listening / Writing & Speaking). Our instructors will guide you according to your priorities in a class which improves English for professional purposes.

Program Notes:
- General English Courses are available for students 16 and older.
- A signed Parental Consent Form is required for all students under the age of 18.
- All Elective Class options may not be available at all schools at all times.
- For students who are enrolled in the Intensive and Super-Intensive courses for a minimum of 12 weeks and complete it together with the Business English elective, they are eligible to recieve an Eurocentres Business English Diploma.
